How this site handles data. In short: the calculator runs in your browser, and we store none of the numbers you enter on any server.
The calculator runs entirely on your device. The balance, rate, payment and extra amount you type are used to compute the result in your browser and are never sent to or stored on a server by us. The only place those values are kept is the page's own URL, which is updated so you can copy and share a scenario as a link. If you don't share the link, no one else sees your numbers.
We use PostHog to understand how the site is used in aggregate, for example which pages are visited and how the tool performs. This may set cookies or use similar storage to count visits and sessions. The data is used to improve the site and is not used to identify you personally. Analytics is loaded through a first-party subdomain of this site.
If analytics is not configured in a given deployment, none of these requests are made at all.
This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites on the internet.
